The Beverly Area Planning Association touts Beverly as an integrated neighborhood, and US Census data back up that claim.
Last Saturday morning in Beverly, in the span of a few minutes and a few blocks, I passed from an all-white field of t-ball players (latter part of video) to an all African-American school fund-raiser.
It made me wonder — was this an isolated set of data points, or the way things are? Is Beverly socially integrated, or simply a place where the races live side-by-side? Chime in if you can help answer my question.
