Lunt and Greenleaf avenues

One of the photos Michael Kardas snapped for our Far North-themed July issue of New Homes was this shot of the mural at Lunt and Greenleaf avenues, under the Red Line overpass between the Morse Avenue and Jarvis Avenue stations. Check out our Flickr photostream or pick up the latest issue of New Homes to see more of Kardas’ photography.

  • I was robbed at gunpoint here 20 years ago. It is worse there today. Ald Moore ought to be caged for malfeasance and forced fed a high moral fiber diet of law and order.

  • I live in Rogers Park right now I still feel that I bought my condo for a steal of a deal. I am 3 blocks from the Metra Stop, 4 blocks from the Red Line stop, and 5 blocks from the beach. Speaking of the beach, the beach at Loyola Park is the largest beach on the Northside of Chicago and has a beutiful view of the skyline. Rogers Park is in my opinion an under developed gem and the last affodable place to live on Chicago’s Northside.
