Kimball Hill Inc. has named Kenneth Love, 53, the company’s new CEO, according to a report by Crain’s Chicago Business. Love, who has served as the vice-chairman, president and co-chief operating officer, takes over from David Hill, 65, who was diagnosed with skin cancer in January but will reportedly remain active in the company.
The national builder, which is based in suburban Rolling Meadows, has been hit hard by slower sales. Revenue sank 33 percent during the second quarter, according to Crain’s.
