Vinnie’s Sub Shop, 1204 W Grand Ave, has been very positively reviewed on Yelp, and many of the reviews mention “the lady behind the counter.” Beth W found her to be “one of the nicest strangers I’ve met in Chicago” and to Laura A she was “the most friendly lady ever.”
None of the 64 reviewers mentioned the lady on the roof of Vinnie’s, who has also been known to be uncommonly friendly and welcoming, and hopefully will remain so.
