I wrote a couple of posts last week on Lexington Park Condominiums, but the only visual representation of the building I had was a grainy rendering that makes it seem detached from the rest of civilization. So I went down to South Loop and took a couple of photos of The Chieftain Group‘s high-rise condo and mid-rise loft development.
These construction photos look pretty similar to some of the others that we’ve seen recently, particularly 757 Orleans @ Chicago, which we’ve been keeping an eye on from the windows of the Yo office.
The photo above is taken from the southwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Cermak Road. The structure in the foreground, connected to the parking structure, will be the Lexington Park lofts. As Britta Rivera told me last week, the lofts should deliver by the end of the year.
This photo at right is of the high-rise, which will have 35 floors when completed. (I count 13 residential floors above the parking structure in this photo.) This one was taken from the McCormick Place plaza at the corner of Indiana Avenue and Cermak Road.
