Given my rants today about DePaul’s new student housing, I thought I’d dip into one of my favorite Chicago blogs, the most excellent Lincoln Park Chad Society.
Highlights: one young Chad, annoyed at copping a driving ticket in Des Plaines, urges police to “go stop some drug smuggling in the suburbs or arrest a poor person.” He urges Northwestern University Trixies to stop wearing UGG boots, and he congratulates the Wicker Park eatery, Feast, for being a W.P. version of the L.P. venue Tilli’s, noting that it is full of “alterna-Trixies”: “It is an outpost in Wicker Park where a Chad or Trixie could find refuge in a time of crisis.” Anyone care to weigh in on the Chadtastic elements of Wicker Park / Bucktown?
