Looks like Lipe Property Company has a new-construction development in the works too. The developer plans to build a nine-unit boutique building called Chantico South next door to Chantico Lofts. The rendering shows the sort of funky metallic siding we’ve seen before, and, though it’s hard to tell, the windows are supposed to be “vibrant red.” It also looks like the front balconies are going to follow the same daffy, orange-and-blue color scheme we saw on the lofts, which may just ruin an otherwise fine-looking building.
