Several weeks ago Joe Zekas wrote about a home at 2411 Thornwood Ave in West Wilmette that’s been on the market for nearly five years.
The home is still for sale at $1,649,000, but is now being offered as a rental, too, for $7,500 a month.
The Thornwood home is tied with 2411 Greenwood, just around the corner, for the title of “highest-priced rental in Wilmette” at this time.
The Greenwood home, which features five bedrooms and 5.5 baths, is also listed for sale at $1,675,000.
Both homes are listed in the MLS as new construction built in 2009, which is puzzling to Joe since he began tracking both in 2006.
