A few floor plans stood out when I was glancing through the condos at Signature Residences, 207 E 31st St. Eight three-bedroom / two-bath homes feature not one, not two, but three balconies – from the $360s.
Of those, Unit D (shown here) appears to be the most interesting. A pair of six-by-10-foot balconies (one off the living room and another in the second bedroom) face north, overlooking Dunbar Park and offering views of the South Loop. A third, smaller balcony faces Prairie Avenue to the west. Unit A is the mirror image of this layout, looking north and east on the opposite side of the building.
According to the pricing sheet I received earlier this week, all eight three-balcony condos (four each of Units A and D) remain available at Signature Residences. Prices start in the $360s and range up to almost $390,000; these are the most expensive homes in the development. Deliveries are expected in about a year.
