Monday begins Loop week, and we’re kicking it off with a loopy walk through the western part of the pedway that stretches dozens of blocks beneath the Loop.
YoJoe and YoVal parked in a multi-story garage on Lake St, just east of Clark, and headed down under to the Thompson Center.
From there we wandered aimlessly for a bit, lost and wondering whether we’d share the fate of Charlie on the MTA.
We made it through the City / County Building into the Daley Center, where a shop clerk informed us he was blind. Was he, we wondered? Watch carefully and draw your own conclusions.
Somewhere along our path we stopped to chat up a homeless gentleman.
Several blocks further along we passed a Blue Line station and emerged into the daylight.
