Land prices are down significantly in many parts of the city, but it’s not an across-the-board trend — an oversized lot in Lincoln Park can still set you back by more than $1 million.

What’s interesting about the parcel above is its sheer size — it runs almost the entire length of the 1500 block of West Montana Street, from Greenview to Ashland avenues. According to the sample listings posted by Koenig & Strey Real Living agent James Kramer, the space (zoned RT4) can fit up to 14 homes, but can also be divided into several 30-, 37.5-, or 50-foot wide lots. It’s an opportunity waiting for someone — let’s see if anyone bites.
