Often left out of conversation about Aqua‘s mix of residential units are the nine Parkhomes located at its base, on the western side of Lakeshore East’s interior park. One of those homes is now open for viewing, and boasts an interior designed by the tower’s own architect.
Studio Gang Architects furnished the model with furniture and cabinetry from Brazilian manufacturer Florense and paintings and sculptures that “relate to Aqua thematically or conceptually,” according to a press release from Magellan. The two images of the model shown above were provided by the renowned architecture photography firm Hedrich Blessing.
Each three-story Parkhome at 225 N Columbus Dr has 3,226 square feet, three bedrooms, three baths, and a two-car garage. Parkhomes residents will have access to many of Aqua’s amenities, including its sprawling outdoor deck and 27,000 square-foot indoor recreational area. Aqua’s Parkhomes are priced from $1.6 million.
These units shouldn’t be mistaken for Lakeshore East’s other “Parkhomes” development, the Benton Place Parkhomes. These units, once marketed simply as the Parkhomes of Lakeshore East, are located on the southeast corner of the Lakeshore East park. These homes also feature new models put together by interior designer Robert Pope.
