I just got my hands on this snazzy rendering of The Winchester, a new high-rise being marketed in Lake View.
Compare it to the photo below – taken from almost the same angle – which shows the existing brick building at 421 W Belmont Ave. That property will be torn down to make way for the tower. Demolition should begin in June, according to a sales agent for the project; for now, the brick building houses the sales center and model.
