Mallinckrodt in the Park, Part 2: A condo with the feel of a home

The 180,000 square-foot Mallinckrodt College building has been a fixture in Wilmette and the North Shore for almost a century. It stands on 14 acres of park space near Lake Michigan and is just a short walk or bus ride away from Wilmette’s shops and restaurants and the Metra’s rail line into Chicago. In 2005, the building was converted to a condo and senior living development, but many of its historic details and spaces remain intact.

This segment from Joe Zekas’ tour of Mallinckrodt with Ted Pickus of Coldwell Banker showcases a 1,900 square-foot two-bedroom model priced in the $490s. As Joe and Ted note, the home plays more like a single-family home than a condominium.
