Massive Fusilli Tower project gets zoning approval

Chicago SpireNow that it’s official, at least as far as the city is concerned, it’s time to choose a new name for the planned Chicago Spire. At 2,000 feet, the 150-story condo tower, for which the Chicago City Council just approved zoning, will be the tallest in the country. Whether you like the Santiago Calatrava design or not, you have to admit it’s a bold plan deserving of a bold name.
