While seeking out interesting photo opportunities recently for New Homes’ Skokie profile, I walked into Chuck E. Cheese’s at Village Crossing, and asked the manager if I could take pictures of some kids playing games.
It was okay with her, she said, as long as I got permission from the adults with the kids. I walked out of Chuck E. Cheese’s five minutes later without having snapped a single frame. Every person I had asked declined the photo opp, referring to themselves as either the “babysitter” or the “nanny.”
