Monroe Place opens to strong sales

Dubin Residential has announced that Monroe Place in the West Loop is more than 40 percent sold after only one weekend of sales. The new community will feature townhomes and “soft-loft” condominiums on the site of the former Wertheimer Box Factory, at 1228 W. Monroe St.

Located near the intersection of Monroe and Racine, Monroe Place comprises 33 townhomes that range from 1,500 to 2,400 square feet and 34 condominiums of 850 to 1,700 square feet. Townhome base prices start in the upper $300s, and condominium base prices start in the mid $200s. Monroe Place also offers five penthouse condominiums base priced from the mid-$400s.

“Coming off our first weekend of sales, Monroe Place has an incredible amount of momentum, and buyers are quickly embracing this opportunity to buy new construction at an affordable price in the West Loop,” said Mike Kelahan, director of sales and marketing for Dubin Residential. “Most of the townhome and condo floor plans are still available, and because we are still offering pre-construction pricing, now is clearly the best time to buy.”
