In our second video at this green development in Ravenswood, we explore the features of a master bathroom in this green construction. Glass tile (considered sustainable from recycled material and low-energy production), low-flow plumbing, and a toilet with two flush settings are the main differences here. Plus there’s an interesting alternative to jets in the tub.
Sergio & Banks agent Melissa Govedarica emphasizes pavers and stainless steel. Pavers are used in the exterior of this development to evenly distribute heavy rainfall back into the earth instead of rushing into and potentially overflowing the sewer. Stainless steel is a preferred material for green construction because of its relatively small manufacturing footprint and its durability.
