Recently, we told you about Park Place Homes, New West Realty’s development of condos, townhouses and single-family homes in West Elsdon. Earlier this month, we had a chance to check out the site and there is progress to report. Not only is the sales center open, but black wrought-iron gates surround the newly-built models of townhouses and single-family homes (the entire community will eventually be gated).
With prices from the $220s, the development of 211 residences is said to be the largest in 50 years on the Southwest Side. What the neighborhood lacks in upscale amenities, it makes up for in location: an Orange Line stop just a few blocks away at Kedzie and a five minute drive to Midway Airport.
