Tell us where this famed block is and name the neighborhood that hosts it … Better yet, head out there on an evening and see how a committed group of neighbors bonds together to achieve something really special.
If you get the neighborhood and block correct, we will send a YoChicago t-shirt and Yo yo-yo your way.

Drexell Ave or King Drive – south side?
What a beautiful street!
Keep guessing!
Ok,
YoVal,
Garfield Park, East.
I cheated. I used the search feature as I believe your father, YoChicago1, posted a pic or video on this last year. I remember the pic or at least the story.
Now back to our show……..
Sorry Irish, but you are wrong.
This block is part of a smaller neighborhood and to win the goodies we need to know what block this is on.
3300 W. Flournoy.
Give the goodies to Carter.
He seems kinda down.
What’s the neighborhood?
What’s my favorite color and blood type?
Homan Square. Which is part of East Garfield Park.
Google is a wonderous thang.
Now get that out to Carter the Martyr.
Happy Chritmaskwanzahanakah to one and all.
shouldn’t it be “Yo yo-yo yo way”?
Anyone have an opinion on the questionable impending gentrification of East Garfield Park? By questionable, I’m asking (1) Will it happen at all? (2) Is it already happening? and (3) How long until this neighborhood has a manageable level of crime that is acceptable to most Chicago-area middle class residents? I keep hearing about people moving there or buying property there, and it still sounds a bit crazy to me–and I live in Uptown!
Carter,
Irish is spreading his holiday cheer, so if you want his prize e-mail me at Val @ YoChicago . com.
I need another T-Shirt like the taxpayers need “Da Mare” to have more relatives.
