• Wow that doesn’t look like any house I’ve ever seen in the city. It could almost be Beverly/Morgan Park but I’d highly doubt it. It looks more like Oak Park.

• Total stab in the dark… Irving Park?

• I’m very amused that you should choose 2 neighborhoods so greatly separated. Sadly, both are wrong. Keep the guesses rollin’ in!

• I should know better than to assume a North Side neighborhood… You never make it that easy.

• Looks more like River Forest/Forest Park or something like that to me.

  Why do I say that? Large lots, frame houses (in other words, not in the city unless incorporated in one of the later expansions, sorry, annexations), etc.

• Ah, as elusive as the white rabbit himself. Two more guesses, two more strikes. One clue, it is actually within city limits.

• Lakewood-Balmoral in Edgewater? Old Edgerook? I’m grasping at straws here.

• Everyone has been speaking of Oak Park and I know there are houses on Oak Park Ave. between Washington and Lake that look similar to this. I am going to guess Austin, because many of the homes in Austin resemble the architecture of Oak Park. Wonder why?

• Austin is a good guess! And I know that “Yo” has done stories there in the past… Aren’t there some wood frame houses like this in Hermosa as well?

• 5745 is the address on the house to the left.

  That is a hint.

• I lived in Austin for over year. It was certainly an experience. There are some really beautiful homes in that neighborhood.
