Chicago single-story home

It’s unusual, in Chicago, to see single-story homes like these. Be the first to name the neighborhood within a neighborhood where they can be found and we’ll send you a spiffy YoChicago yo-yo.

Reminder: this is name the nabe, not guess the nabe.

this block of houses would be super cool if most of the owners hadn’t installed those crappy awnings.

  • Those are the coolest tract houses in Chicago – except for the awnings and the weird site planning; to create the huge expanse of lawn, they are set very close to the rear lot line than typical for that era.

  • Joe, unfortunately I don’t. This would be the mass-market version of Keck & Keck.
