It’s old news by now, via the Tribune’s Blair Kamin and other sources, that Studio Gang Architects, Shaw Sustainable Solutions and WRD Environmental won a 2011 Distinguished Building Award from the Chicago Chapter of the AIA for the nature boardwalk, education pavilion and South Pond transformation at the Lincoln Park Zoo.
