2333 North Bosworth St, Lincoln Park, Chicago

Unlike some of the condo developments near the busy intersection of Fullerton and Ashland avenues that have tended to have a modern design, this three-flat at 2333 N Bosworth St in Lincoln Park goes for a more classic style. Considering that I had to ask the agent whether it was a conversion or new construction, I think it pulls it off.

Judging from the photos Coldwell Banker agent Kelly Wong emailed, these homes have been finished with elaborate wainscoting and built-in shelves in the living areas. According to the listings, they’ve also been tricked out with a phone intercom system and an iPod docking station with surround sound.

Wong says the ground floor duplex has been sold, but two condos are still for sale. The three-bedroom / two-bath duplex on the top floor, whose semi-vaulted ceiling can be seen in the photo below, at left, has 1,800 square feet of floor space and is priced in the $650s. The 1,450 square-foot two-bedroom / two-bath on the second floor is priced in the $450s. Between the two, the average price per square foot is about $344.

Both condos come with garage parking and outdoor space.

  • It is nice to see a “real” front entry door on this building. I would say 9 out of 10 new three flats in lakeview/lincoln park use one of two generic front entry doors. I can never understand why they have $15k of appliances in the kitchen, a $500K+ price tag and a $200 front entry door. Well done.

  • I bought the 2,900 sq.ft duplex down in this building. The finishes are head and shoulders above anything else my wife and I saw (over 50 new construction units) and the pricing at these levels is fantastic given the location. I would strongly urge anyone in the 2br market to look at unit number 2 (1,450sq.ft)…it’s a steal, awesome woodwork and kitchen, top notch baths…very impressive building.

  • I bought unit 2 and very excited to move in. I was very impressed with the attention to detail. I looked at over 30 different properties, new construcion, high rise and also different locations, but this one had it all hands down to any others.

  • Yes, especially when their URL is a real estate web site. That’s 2/3rd of the building posting here.

  • If anyone is “SKEPTICAL” maybe they should go and look and check it out themselves… I guess in the mean time Harvey and I will get to enjoy the roof top till someone buys the last unit.

  • Todd,

If you are a real estate agent I’d suggest you check out the NAR code of ethics as it applies to anonymous posting. You might also want to familiarize yourself with the FTC guidelines concerning endorsements of this sort. Or, if you prefer, you can continue to take risks that have career-ending potential for minimal gain.

  • iF i WERE JOE i WOULD not worry so much about this if he does not intend on buying….

  • JOEY a/k/a Todd,

I’ve moved beyond skeptical to being convinced your earlier comments are flat-out lies. Thanks for the clarification.

Do you really believe that misleading people is going to help sell your project? Are you that desperate for buyers?

  • Wouldn’t it be funny if Todd was actually 20 years old and bought this place.. his first home ever and this random person JOE is reading into this the wrong way?! Wow that would be something…

  • AKA etc.

Wouldn’t it be funny if the same person who’s doing all these lying comments was a third-rate actor who barely skated on a drug rap at UNLV?

    Don’t push your luck, Todd.

  • Actually it would be even funnier if I were self employed and got my degree from PURDUE UNIVERSITY… you must not know anything google doesn’t!

  • Todd,

Match your Facebook profile with your comments here and you were 18 when you graduated Purdue.
