New development round-up: Near West Side

We spotted just two new developments on the Near West Side this month. Taken together, they’re a bit like poster children for two vastly different approaches to urban infill architecture: the (more common) faux historic, which at 115 S Western Ave means arched windows, roofline details and horizontal bands, and the modern angularity of 2300 W Jackson Blvd.
