New gut-renovated studios in the West Loop under $1K

BJB Properties has nearly completed the gut-renovation of four buildings at the northeast corner of Jackson and Halsted in the Greektown part of the West Loop. The new 768 W Jackson has 103 studio apartments ready for immediate occupancy, starting from just under $1,000 a month. Four furnished models are available for viewing.

The apartments are on the small side, but they’re all new and have stylish finishes, an attractive location, and rents well below almost everything in the hot West Loop.

Kitchens have granite counters, electric cooktops, microwave convection ovens and dishwashers. Baths are fresh and bright and have mirrored medicine cabinets.

There are abundant dining and nightlife options within a short walk. The popular Meli Café is across the street.

Building amenities include a fitness room, a laundry room, resident storage lockers, bicycle storage and a rooftop sundeck.

The location is two short blocks south of Mariano’s, 3 short blocks from Whole Foods, and a few minutes’ walk from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Loop offices are easily accessible by eastbound bus routes. The CTA Blue Line stop at Halsted is two blocks south.
