New homes reflect the reinvention of Bridgeport

The Chicago Advocate blog has an informative and detailed, if somewhat boosterish, overview of the changes that have occurred and are about to occur in Bridgeport.

The Lexington Square townhomes and Lexington Place single-family homes reflect the continuing and growing appeal of one of Chicago’s most-storied and loyalty-inspiring neighborhoods.

Lexington Square recently launched its third phase, with three- and four-bedroom, 2 ½ o 3 ½ bath homes currently pre-completion priced from $384,990.

Lexington Place has begun its second phase, 19 new classic-style single-family homes, priced from the low $500s.

The homes are in a quiet corner of Bridgeport adjacent to Donovan Park. Chicago Magazine recently noted one sign that people are planting roots at Lexington Square and Lexington Place: a baby boomlet.
