New life for a Bridgeport loft building?

It’s been nearly 9 years since we first wrote about Bridgeport Place, a proposed condo development at 35th and Morgan.

At one point the project was reconceived as a rental, and just over two years ago we added it to the Dubious Dubin Development Deadpool.

Crain’s Chicago Business is reporting that the project may be revived under the aegis of a new developer, the owners of the neighboring Zhou B Art Center.

The project is just down the street from the delightful Polo Café where my friend and former partner Dave Samber hosts a sing-along Gospel Brunch every Sunday from noon until 2 pm.
