New homes and condos by Chicago-based builder Noah Properties have been generating a lot of buzz.
Noah’s been able to take advantage of sharply lower land prices to price aggressively against resale units. Noah’s homes come loaded up with practical and stylish extras that buyers hesitated to pay for in the super-heated market of several years back. The combination of competitive prices and over-the-top finishes has resulted in rapid sales in the current sluggish market.
One of Noah’s current projects is a 5-unit condo at 2521 N Ashland Ave in Lincoln Park, just around the corner from the popular Wrightwood Park. The development includes two duplex 4-bedroom, 3-bath units (both already sold), an unusual top-level 2,000 square foot unit with a private roofdeck on the same level, and 2 3-bedroom, 2-bath simplex units, priced at $379,900.
