New luxury apartments slated for Sheffield and School

We’ve tended to focus our attention on the larger downtown apartment projects, but there’s also new infill rental development in the neighborhoods.

A corner lot at 3301 N Sheffield is slated for a 6-story building with 9 luxury apartments and ground-floor retail space. A building permit with a stated value of $3M was issued late last month, but there was no activity on the site when I stopped by early yesterday afternoon.
