When residents move in to 1000 South Clark early next year they’ll enjoy an amenities package that’s unrivalled in the South Loop and perhaps in the entire city.
1000 South Clark will have six resident lounges, including a game room, a library lounge and wine bar, a 29th floor rooftop lounge and a chef’s kitchen.
I visited the rooftop recently and checked out the sweeping views in every direction. The east and north views are particularly striking.
The running track that you can see taking shape in the above picture goes under the tower and past the 10,000 square foot 4th floor fitness center, serving up great east and north views as it wraps around the building.
Additional amenities include an indoor / outdoor pool, a basketball court, a squash court, a 20,000 square foot outdoor terrace, a dog care center and more.
Pre-leasing is slated to begin soon for studio to 3-bedroom apartments, with occupancy targeted for February of 2016.
