New South Loop condos from $160s

Although we haven’t been able to gather much information other than what was mentioned in an ad in Sunday’s Chicago Tribune, a new development called Terrazio is headed to the South Loop. From what we can gather, Sedgwick Properties is developing the condo project, which will be marketed by Koenig & Strey’s CRF Marketing team.

Among its many amenities, Terrazio promises a rooftop lounge with skyline views, a sun deck, pergolas, a “tranquility pool,” a courtyard with a fountain and an outdoor kitchen with grilling and dining areas.

But the most important feature here for many buyers will, no doubt, be the price. Condos start in the $160s, which is pretty damn low for new construction, even if it gets you a tiny studio, in this neck of the woods (what is this neck of the woods? Well, we don’t know exactly – the ad only says, “South Loop”). We’ll bring you more info on Terrazio (including details on the type of marble that might be on hand) as we get it.

Meanwhile, prospective buyers can use the online “VIP” registration form to sign up for more info. How do you know who’s a VIP? They’re the ones getting bombarded by developer e-mails.
