Perspectives can be deceiving.
In the first photo, the crane for the construction of the new 1345 Wabash condominiums appears to be directly behind the Jewel-Osco on Roosevelt Rd. In the photo directly above the crane seems to be across the street from the south end of the Jewel. It’s actually a full block south.
Residents at 1345 Wabash will have equally convenient access to the Trader Joe’s on Roosevelt Rd. They’ll also enjoy having five destination restaurants on their block: Gioco, Zapatista, Asian Outpost, Flo & Santos and The Scout.
With the recent completion of the tower crane at 1345 Wabash, the pace of construction has begun to accelerate.
1345 Wabash is the first new condominium high-rise built in the South Loop in the past six years. When it’s complete, the building will have 144 one- and two-bedroom condominiums priced from the $220s.
