New West's University Station cleans up nicely

When we saw New West Realty‘s University Station this summer (pictured at left), the former cold storage warehouse looked like it had suffered heavy mortar shelling. When we went back a couple of weeks ago, though, we were amazed to see how great that formerly devastated facade now looks. New West’s Web site promises deliveries on the 231-unit loft development starting in December, and prices on remaining units start in the $250s. The sales center is located on-site at 1500 S Blue Island Ave in University Village. Step inside for some closeup shots.
