There’s no model – yet – but buyers have spoken for eight of 24 available units at Catalpa Square, 2409 W. Catalpa Ave.

The sales were driven by floor plans alone, says Donna Rolf, of Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate. Simplexes proved to be the most popular layout for initial buyers, and Rolf expects duplex buyers will join in once model units are available in the next month or so.

Catalpa Square sits at the northwest corner of Catalpa and Western avenues in Budlong Woods. If you enjoy unobstructed views, check out the east-facing units, which overlook the sprawling Rosehill Cemetery.

Prices range from the $240s to the $440s for simplexes and duplexes.
