Kingsbury Plaza attracted quite a bit of attention earlier this year when it announced that it was going smoke-free. The Tribune noted at the time that other buildings were already marketing to non-smokers.
The 20-story vintage (1929) building at 10 West Elm is one of the buildings that have been smoke-free for some time.
There are only eight units per floor in the building – and a laundry room on each floor. Studio and one-bedroom apartments have 9-foot ceilings and a number of period touches – coved ceilings, French doors, picture moldings and sconce lighting. In addition to being smoke-free, the building is fur-free – no pets.
The building has some of the most positive reviews we’ve seen on ApartmentRatings and Yelp.
