Today I can find only 4 homes listed as teardown candidates on the North Shore, three in Glencoe and one in Winnetka. Listings for vacant land are also scarce and many of those listings have lingered on the market for years.

The home sits on a .8-acre lakefront lot and is described as “perfect for renovation, expansion or teardown.” It first came to market nearly 5 years ago. The price for the current listing started at $5,250,000 and was reduced to the current level over a year ago.
