Just because most el trains smell faintly of piss doesn’t mean they can’t be the hot new spot to debut fashion. This evening Nova Art Fair is hosting Fashion Train, three one-hour fashion shows that take place in a two-car el train. Fashion Train boards at the Belmont red/brown line stop at 8 p.m., 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., and tickets are just $20.

I’m confused. I thought this site was about housing and neighborhood news. How does this item fit into that focus?
It’s a quirky event that reflects the feel of the neighborhood. It’s not like Fashion Train would ever depart from the Bryn Mawr stop, now would it?
Your definition of a “quirky event that reflects the feel of the neighborhood” is broad enough to encompass just about anything.
The Fashion Train would depart from anywhere that the Bucktown designers participating in it feel they can find a market.
I stilll don’t see a housing angle or a “neighborhood news” angle.
