The restaurants and nightspots along Randolph Street are also nearby, and the Loop proper is just across the bridge that spans I-90/94 – not too long a trek for an office worker.
The building is just one door down from these expressways, which some might see as a downside. But the roads run through a deep canyon that ought to keep the noise and exhaust at a decent remove – while ensuring panoramic views of the city for the eastern-facing units.
Odyssey Lofts has ground-floor commercial space and 60 residential units that range from 740 to 1,836 square feet, and 14-foot sandblasted timber ceilings keep even the smaller units from feeling cramped. Homes start in the $270s and top out near the $620s.
The developer, W Developments LLC, has added two stories of new construction to the top of the six-story building.
