There is a hole at the corner of Lincoln, Lincoln Park West, and Wisconsin in Old Town. Stay tuned for what goes up there, but what came down in the last couple of weeks was a convalescent home.
As a resident of the neighborhood I’m voting for the following in the new building (if indeed the city does not turn it into a park). I was only kidding in that parenthetical.
My hopes for a new business are: Deli, hamburger stand, deli/hamburger stand, slot car racing facility (like Dad’s in Des Plaines), bookstore, place that sells nice candles, nautical-themed bar, carnival-themed bar, bar, independent candy store, opium den.
