There is just one unit left in the new-construction condo development at 3420 S Morgan St in Bridgeport. The other three condos in the building sold in less than a month and a half, according to an agent from Ivona Kutermankiewicz‘s Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate office.
That last remaining unit is a 1,875 square-foot three-bedroom / three-bathroom duplex priced in the $380s, and it comes with a parking space and has an outdoor terrace.
This stretch of Morgan Street between 31st and 35th streets in Bridgeport seems pleasant. I took this photo while the crosstown game was being played at US Cellular Field, and there were plenty of people out on the street (and hanging out on balconies, as you can see in the above photo). However, while condo development seems to be on the rise on Morgan, retail still lags behind. I noticed at least as many shuttered storefronts as there were open businesses on Morgan, and saw little evidence of any new commercial activity.
This development at 3420 S Morgan St also has available commercial space on the ground level, and I’ll be interested to see how (or if) it is filled.
