West Loopers can get the scoop on F&F Realty’s One South Halsted proposal during a community meeting scheduled for Wednesday evening.
Alderman Walter Burnett and the West Loop Community Organization will host a presentation on the project from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 30 at the Merit School of Music, 38 S Peoria St. A presentation on a proposed residential rehab and automated parking tower at 113 – 123 N Green St will follow from 7:30 to 8:30.
The 822,200 square-foot complex, designed by FitzGerald Associates Architects, would feature 30,800 square feet of commercial space, 520 parking spaces, banquet halls, a business center, and a pool and health club to be shared with the adjacent Crowne Plaza hotel. The development’s tower would stand 80 feet taller than the neighboring Skybridge condo high-rise, currently the tallest building west of the Kennedy Expressway.
