Several weeks ago we upgraded YoChicago’s at-a-glance list and map of downtown apartments by adding direct links to online availability checks for the buildings that offer that feature.
We’ve just updated our Near North list and map to include this feature. If you’re searching for a 2-bedroom, 2-bath in Streeterville, for example, you can quickly check what’s available at 6 of the 11 apartment complexes in that neighborhood. We did that check, and here are the current results:
At Cityfront Place, 400 N McClurg Ct, only one 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit is available, renting for $2,573 a month.
420 East Ohio has a 2-bedroom, 2-bath on the 22nd floor available immediately for $2,775 and one on the 11th floor available April 7 for $2,425.
Lake Shore Plaza, 445 E Ohio, has two 2 / 2s available immediately, for $2,165 and $2,210 a month, and a third unit available May 7 for $1,983.
No two-bedrooms are currently available at 860 N DeWitt.
The Streeter, 345 E Ohio, has the widest selection of 2-bedrooms available, and the priciest. Eight units are immediately available, renting from $2,985 to $3,478. Two additional units will be available April 3, and another on May 3, renting for $2,885, $3,415 and $3,035, respectively.
211 East Delaware is an all-studio building.
Our at-a-glance list links directly to the websites for the other buildings. With just a few emails or phone calls you can see whether they’ll have any 2-bedroom, 2-bath units available in the near future. As a bonus, you’ll spare yourself the frustration and risks of dealing with an apartment rental service.
