We’ve got to hand it to The Raffaello. As other hotel condo projects quietly withdraw from the market due to buyers’ lack of interest or developers deciding to focus instead on the rebounding hotel industry, The Raffaello, 201 E Delaware Place, has seen solid sales since the doors opened earlier this year, selling 75 percent of units in the first six months. Developer Crescent Heights has only 25 units remaining. Real estate agents tell us that’s because buyers recognize that the development is in a pretty good location and prices, which start in the $200s, are closer to those of regular downtown condos that other hotel condo projects.
