Park Alexandria, Magellan Development Group’s 32-story condo tower at 125 S. Jefferson, led the West Loop during 2003. The project had 63 sales during the first three quarters of the year, leading the 17 condo projects tracked by Appraisal Research Counselors.
“We stand at exactly four times the average of the other 16 West Loop properties tracked by Appraisal Research Counselors,” said Rob Pontarelli, vice president of sales and marketing for Magellan.
The 266-unit tower has prices starting in the $180s for a junior one-bedroom and ranging up to nearly $1 million for large penthouses. At press time, the development was more than 70 percent sold and a number of buyers had moved into their units.
