Parks and more at new South Loop condos

Grant Park, Chicago’s 319-acre “front yard,” is a few short blocks from 1345 Wabash, the new condos under construction in the South Loop. The sloping lawn at the new skate park under construction at Grant Park will serve up dramatic views of the wall of buildings fronting the north and west sides of Grant Park.

1345 Wabash residents are likely to make frequent visits to Coliseum Park, a little-known gem just a block south of the building.

The tree-shaded Coliseum Park occupies a part of the site that was once home to a Civil War prison and the Chicago Coliseum. In the 1920s the Coliseum drew crowds to watch the Chicago Blackhawks.

Kids love the innovative playground area at Coliseum Park, and dog-walkers enjoy the colonnaded paths. It’s a cool spot to relax and revel in the outdoors on hot days.

The 1345 Wabash location is steps from everything besides parks – the CTA stops at Roosevelt Road, Jewel-Osco, Trader Joe’s, and dozens of great restaurants and bars.

Visit the 1345 Wabash website and the sales and design center at 1620 S Michigan for look at how this work of architecture is setting new standards in style, convenience and value.
