Working in behalf of lenders who took the property from developer Dan McLean, Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. has started marketing to buyers a vacant Streeterville lot suitable for a high-rise. It’s west of Peshtigo between Grand and Illinois, and next to where Related Midwest is trying to sell the city on a 45-story apartment tower.
This is the site of the unbuilt ParkView East, the never-built companion building to McLean’s ParkView at 505 N McClurg Ct.
Ignore Roeder’s second sentence — the Related Midwest proposal simply takes the place of Peshtigo, which was never built. (Edit: …or don’t — as Dennis noted below, Roeder was referring to Peshtigo Court, the city street, not The Peshtigo, Related Midwest’s old high-rise plan.)
Kudos to Curbed for finding this item.

Don’t ignore Roeder’s second sentence; he had it right. The site is west of the short street named Peshtigo, on the site where the building named The Peshtigo would have been.
Ha, I was thinking the high-rise, not the street. You’re right, DR.
