Plan Commission endorses Webster Square proposal

I just received an e-mail from David Goldman of Sandz Development stating that the Chicago Plan Commission voted 11-0 in support of an amendment to the old Lincoln Park Hospital planned development to permit Sandz’ new mixed-use Webster Square development.

According to Thursday’s agenda, the rezoning would allow a maximum of 162 residential units, 20,000 square feet of retail / commercial space, 95,000 square feet of medical / professional office space, and 465 accessory and non-accessory parking spaces.

Update: The Sun-Times has a report. The vote sends the proposal to the City Council for action early next year, the article says.
