Planning for a future without the Olympics

Chicago may not have landed the Olympics, but it should set some neighborhood development goals for 2016 nonetheless, says Alderman and Cook County Board President nominee Toni Preckwinkle. In her opening comments at Tuesday’s “Back to the Future” panel, hosted by LISC/Chicago, Preckwinkle offered an overview of the three-pronged approach the city should take to improve its neighborhoods and the region’s economy.
