Chicago Real Estate Daily reported that developers Keith Giles and Michael Moyer have requested a zoning change to convert the landmark 17-story Old Colony Building at 407 S Dearborn into 204 apartments. The building was built in 1894 and designed by Holabird & Roche. It was once the tallest building in Chicago.
The parking lots at the lower left and lower right in the above image are slated for new high-rise rental towers.
